OF late, sadly, Bahrain is becoming a shambles in many places. Food trucks along the road in Busaiteen from the highway bridge to the turn to the seafront leisure walk.
How many of these food trucks are now derelict? How many are functioning with what appears to be no washing and toilet facilities? No doubt, there are other places like this, plus they are spreading fast.
Then there are the messy hazardous clothes collection boxes. So many, many health disasters just waiting to happen.
Bahrain was never like this. It’s horrible to see this state of affairs, also to realise just how dangerous these health hazards are.
Apart from this, it does not make for an island to be proud of.
