Riyadh: Saudi has announced that at least 60,000 free Wi-Fi hotspots will be set up in public locations across the kingdom.
The initiative by the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) will see hospitals, malls, public parks and the Two Holy Mosques get access to free Wi-Fi access, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
It also includes free access to the public Wi-Fi network for up to two hours per day in a number of Saudi cities, covering each service provider.
