THE annual Korean Film Festival will be launched at the STC Drive-in BH, Bahrain Bay, on November 25.
The eighth edition of the festival, “Korea Movie Weeks”, will be held with full adherence to Covid-19 regulations on three days – November 25, 26 and 29.
The event will begin with the screening of the Oscar-Winning movie, Parasite. It showcases the story of a poverty-stricken family which ends up doing a string of jobs at a wealthy household.
The satirical social thriller continues with the families getting dangerously entangled in a web of greed and lies.
Meanwhile, Family Hood will be screened on November 26 and the comedy-drama tells the story of an ageing self-centred actress who decides to become a mother in a quest to find a purpose in life.
Finally, on November 29 the event concludes with the action comedy Exit – the story of a rock climber who is busy preparing his mother’s birthday party only to save everyone from a poisonous gas spreading across the city.
The venue opens at 6.30pm with the movies starting at 7pm.
Each car can carry a maximum of four passengers with SUVs designated to the back rows while sedans will take up the front rows.
