India-based Venus International Foundation (VIF) has conferred the Oustanding Faculty prize on the University of Bahrain (UoB) Architecture and Interior Design Assistant Professor Dr Nasser Waheeb Al Nasser.
He will be presented with the award on January 9 at Green Park, Chennai, during the VIF Board of Trustees’ meeting to be held on the sidelines of the 6th annual Sciences and Technology Congress.
Dr Al Nasser graduated from the University of Bahrain with a Bachelor’s degree. He holds a Master’s degree and PhD from Reading University in Britain. He is the first Arab to win the VIF award.
The Outstanding Faculty prize is one of VIF five awards which recognize distinguished academic figures aged between 34 and 44, with a minimum 10-year service and a prolific teaching career.
Dr Al Nasser has so far 29 syndicated researches, which were cited 338 times in other studies. He has 18.5 points on the Google Scholar Metrics and his studies have been read by 3,261 researchers worldwide.
