His Majesty King Hamad today received, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Prime Minister, at Sakhir Palace Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Interior Ministry Under-Secretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa bin Hamad Al Khalifa and their Children.
He offered them condolences on the death of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, praising his pioneering efforts and his countless contributions to the kingdom's comprehensive development.
He said Bahrain had lost one of its most revered statesman who devoted his life to the progress of the nation and to achieve the aspirations of its people, while also serving the Arabic and Islamic nation.
The King said Prince Khalifa will remain an eternal patriotic symbol in the nation's memory.
Shaikh Ali and the children and grandchildren of HRH Prince Khalifa expressed thanks, gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty for his noble feelings.
