Eight suspected corruption cases highlighted in the 2019-2020 Administrative and Financial Audit Bureau report have been referred to the Public Prosecution today.
Ten others are under investigation and 215 are being administratively monitored by ministries.
The decision was taken as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Prime Minister, chaired the Cabinet's session remotely.
Prince Salman mapped out the country's future programmes and goals in an address at the beginning of the session.
