MANAMA: The implementation of Bapco Modernisation Programme (BMP), the largest investment project in its history, is moving ahead, the company's board of directors heard during a meeting.
Chaired by Bapco chairman and chief executive Dr Dawood Nassif, the meeting began with a minute of silence in honour of the late HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa who was a key supporter of the company and its projects, including the inauguration of BMP in early 2019, which was held under his patronage.
During the meeting, topics listed on the agenda were discussed in relation to the company's projects and operations.
The directors expressed thanks and gratitude to Oil Minister Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa for his valued support and follow-up in fostering the development projects of the company.
The board also thanked Bapco employees for their performance and dedicated efforts in fostering the progress of the company and the sustainable growth of the kingdom.
