An urgent proposal to ask the government to offer Covid-19 vaccines for Bahrainis working and studying abroad has been approved unanimously by MPs today.
The proposal, presented by five MPs spearheaded by Ahmed Al Amer, will be now reviewed by the Cabinet.
It seeks to have arrangements made through diplomatic missions, embassies and consulates representing Bahrain for free vaccines to be given.
The GDN reported that Bahrain has ordered one million vaccines expected to arrive early next year.
