LIC (International) BSC (C) in Bahrain is a joint venture promoted by Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and International Agencies Company (Intercol).
It commenced operations in July 1989 with the objective of offering US dollar-denominated policies to cater to the insurance needs of expatriate Indians and nationals.
The company operates in the four GCC countries of Bahrain, UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Oman and Kuwait.

Its customer portal is a unique feature where an existing customer can register for his/her access to LIC (International) policy information anytime, anywhere.

It gives access to customer-specific information such as detailed product-related information, customer specific policy list, policy status report, premium due list, premium calculator, human life value calculation and more.
Policyholders can also access such information through the LIC International Android app downloadable from Google Play Store as well as the iOS app

LIC (International) regularly uploads product brochures and awareness messages on its Instagram account and sends SMS text messages to respective policyholders on their registered mobile before their premium due date so that policy premiums can be paid up to date.
Policyholders can directly transfer their premium amount to LIC (International) bank accounts in their respective countries through telex transfer facilities.
In order to extend prompt service, policyholders are requested to provide their current mobile number, email address (work), email address (personal), correspondence address, permanent residential address and bank account details with LIC (International) branches.
They are also requested to inform LIC (International) in case of any changes in the personal
