MANAMA: Solidarity Bahrain, a subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding, hosted a virtual hackathon for its employees aimed at innovation, creativity and upskilling of future generations of digital technology experts in the insurance industry.
The event involved many employees from different departments and different qualification backgrounds, who have gone through virtual intensive training and mentorship sessions.
Employees presented their innovative ideas and solutions to the judging panel which consisted of senior officials from Solidarity Bahrain.
The company’s chief executive Jawad Mohammed said: “We are proud of the success of the hackathon, which is one of the ways to help us build and sustain a strong pipeline of Bahraini talent with the right digital transformation skills and experience to lead the company over the next decade.”
