Manama continued its winning streak, claiming the third consecutive victory in the Nasser Premier League.
It edged past Al Malkiya 1-0 in the fifth round, thanks to Mahdi Abduljabbar, who scored the only goal 64 minutes into the match.
Manama raises its tally to 10 points, while Al Malkiya remains at the bottom of the table with one point.
In another match, Al Nejma claimed its first win after beating Busaiteen 1-0, thanks to defender Ali Khalid who scored in 80th minute of the match.
With this win, Al Nejma leaves the bottom of the table, totalling five points, while Busaiteen’s tally remains at four.
Budaiya stunned Al Ahli 1-0, raising its tally to seven points while Al Ahli’s tally remains at four points.
Abdulla Al Haiki scored the only goal in the 28th minute of the match which was played at Bahrain National Stadium.
The fifth round of the competition will conclude today, with title holder Hidd taking on Muharraq at Bahrain National Stadium. Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Stadium, Muharraq will host the second match between neighbours and leaders Riffa and East Riffa.
