A seminar was held yesterday at the Professional Fishermen Society (PFS) headquarters to raise awareness of the risks of seafaring in the waters of the Arabian Gulf as well as requesting the release of fisherman Habib Abbas who has been detained in Qatar.
The Bahrain Human Rights Watch Society (BHRWS), the Bahrain Journalists Association and the Professional Fishermen Society, staged the event as part of their ‘Qatar Violations against the Rights of Fishermen in Bahrain’ campaign .
