BAHRAIN’s tourism sector has already lost around BD1 billion as a result of Covid-19 operational restrictions, it has emerged.
A total loss of 29,000 daily visitors have resulted in monthly losses amounting to BD108m. Figures were revealed by Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed Alzayani in a written response to Parliament foreign affairs, defence and national security committee vice-chairman Isa Al Dossary.
