His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has urged members of the Royal Team to showcase their best performances and strive to achieve positive results at the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup which will take place today at AlUla in Saudi Arabia.
Shaikh Nasser, who witnessed the final preparations for the event yesterday, praised the outstanding efforts made by the organising committee to ensure the success of the competition.
Present were SCYS first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Supreme Council for the Environment vice-president and Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club deputy chairman Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
Around 200 participants from different countries will take part in the event which will cover 120 kilometres. The Royal Team comprises Raed Mahmoud, Abdulrahman Al Zayed, Othman Al Awadhi, Mohammed Abdul Samad Al Bastaki and Isa Jamal Al Sendi.
