Carlijn Leeflang emerged winner on Jairo after a 70 per cent score in the intro senior section of the Shaikh Noora Bint Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa Dressage Championship.
The event was held under the patronage of Shaikha Noora bint Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, captain of Al Fursan team.
Faisal Mousa was second on Osborne, picking 69.78pc, and Hussain Albanai was third on Oviedo after securing of 69pc.
Marine Roger won the preliminary junior section after hitting the 68.79pc mark while Titouan Roger came second with 67.41pc. The first-place winner and the runner-up rode the same horse in this contest, namely Fly. In third place was won by Muneera Ahmed Alabbasi on Gallada Ps. She scored 64.83pc.
In the intro junior category, Tegan Harrison triumphed on Nabijon after scoring 65.87pc, while Can Topbas on Oreo and Grace Zimmer on Casino shared the second place with 65.22pc and Albane Lecat finished third with 65pc.
Fadel Abbas prevailed in the amateur category on Panadero, scoring 72.50pc, while Reza Al Afoo was the victor in the elementary class on Mano Kinsky, earning 72.88pc.
The event featured strong competition to win top places and qualify for the finals which will take place next month. Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation secretary Ghaleb Al Alawi crowned the winners.
