TWELVE winners have been announced in a two-day fishing competition organised by the Bahrain Inherited Traditional Sports Committee (Mawrooth) over the weekend.The Haddak competition, off the coast of the Hayr Shutaya island in the north-east, witnessed the participation of more than 600 people on board 150 boats to catch four types of fish: hamour (grouper), chan’ad (kingfish), she’ri (emperor) and jed (barracuda) .
