Scorpions, the legendary German hard rock band, are returning to perform in Bahrain on May 20 … 10 years after they last thrilled fans in the kingdom as part of the 2014 F1 off track entertainment.
The band’s ‘Love at First Sting Tour’ marks the 40th anniversary of their hit ninth studio album released in March 1984.
Scorpions are estimated to have sold more than 100 million records around the world. One of their most recognised hits is ‘Wind of Change’ a symbolic anthem of the political changes in Eastern Europe in the late 1980s and early 1990s and the fall of the Berlin Wall.
* Also performing in Bahrain will be legendary Egyptian singer, composer and actor Amr Diab on April 26.
He holds a Guinness World Records title for winning the most World Music Awards and for being the best selling Middle Eastern recording artist.
