The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has thwarted two attempts to smuggle over 63,000 Captagon pills hidden in two vehicles coming into the Kingdom through Al-Haditha border crossing.
According to the authority, one attempt was of 41,279 Captagon pills, and the other 22,000.
The authority has coordinated with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control and five people who were expecting the narcotics got arrested.
ZATCA reasserted its determination to continue tightening customs control over the Kingdom's imports and exports and its position against smuggling attempts in coordination and collaboration with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control to ensure the security and protection of society.

It may also be contacted through email: 1910@zatca.gov.sa. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality, and a financial reward will be given to the informer if the tip proves true.
