BMMI Dilmun Club ‘A’ registered a lopsided 43-1 victory over sister squad BMMI Dilmun Club ‘B’ in their DHL Bahrain Netball League match, played at The British Club in Adliya.
It was a completely dominant performance through all four quarters for the winners, who allowed their rivals just a single goal in the game.
Goal defence Laura Whitehall was named the player of the match for Dilmun ‘A’, while Goal Defence Saja Kabaloui was the best player from the losing side.
Also claiming a big win were Bahrain Rugby Football Club (BRFC) ‘A’, who beat Sri Lanka Club 43-8.
Goalkeeper Khulood Al Sabah was the top performer for the triumphant squad, while her counterpart Hassini Manathunga claimed the player of the match tag for her team in defeat.
BRFC ‘B’ and BRFC ‘C’ were engaged in a more competitive encounter the same evening. BRFC ‘B’ came away with a 17-6 win over their sister team.
Goalkeeper Kathryn Buckman was the player of the match for the winners, while Rawan was the best performer for BRFC ‘C’.
League action continues on Tuesday next week at the Dilmun Club courts in Saar with four matches scheduled to be played. Sri Lanka Club face British Club ‘C’ and British Club ‘A’ take on BMMI Dilmun ‘B’ at 7.15pm while BRFC ‘A’ battle BRFC ‘B’ and BRFC ‘C’ play BMMI Dilmun ‘A’ at 8.15pm.
