Temporary visa ban extended in Oman

Muscat – A temporary ban prohibiting the recruitment of expatriates in 87 private sector jobs has been extended by a further 6 months. 

The Ministry of Manpower issued an edict extending ban by a half year as from the 30th of July, 2018. 

The Minister of Manpower, Shaikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bakri issued an edict temporarily last January banning licenses for recruiting expat workers for 87 jobs in 10 private sectors for six months.
