HAMZA Kooheji becomes the first Bahraini Mixed Martial Artist to compete in Saudi Arabia when he takes on Yayong Wang of China at Brave 21 on December 28 at the King Abdullah Sports City Indoor Sports Hall in Jeddah.
It will be the first-ever mixed martial arts event to be held in Saudi Arabia.
Kooheji is presently training at the KHK MMA Bahrain under head coach Eldar Eldarov and veteran martial artist Yousif Al Kooheji.
The Bahraini youth icon is confident of scoring a convincing victory.
It will be the first time that a Bahraini professional fighter will be taking on a Chinese opponent. The bantamweight fighter from Bahrain has seven wins in his professional career.

“Brave 21 will be an iconic event for the world of mixed martial arts as this marks the first event taking place in Saudi Arabia and it coincides with Bahrain’s National Day celebrations,” said Kooheji.
