Al Shabab hit back from one goal down to beat Malkiya 3-1 in the Nasser bin Hamad Football Premier League held at Muharraq Club Stadium last night.
In another match, Al Najma drew with Al Hala 1-1.
Al Shabab had to score three goals in the second half to complete their hard but well-deserved win.
Malkiya scored first in the 35th minute through Isa Al Barri to take the lead but Prince hit the equaliser for Al Shabab in the 68th minute.
Prince followed through with a brilliant goal in the 77th minute before Ali Madan found his target in the 88th minute to complete Al Shabab’s fightback.
Al Shabab moved to eighth place on the table with 12 points, while Malkiya remained in the ninth place with 12 points.
Al Najma are now in third place with 21 points, while Al Hala are in the bottom with 9 points.
