Beirut: A Syrian man who was killed after he broke into Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram's house was carrying a toy pistol.
Lebanese MTV channel quoted a judicial source, who said that Mohammed Al-Moosa was carrying a fake gun when he sneaked into the singer’s house.
The singer’s husband Dr Fadi Al-Hashem killed the 31-year intruder in the couple’s house in the area of New Sahla, Kasrawan, in Djebel Lebanon.
The Prosecution launched an inquiry into the incident and remanded the husband into custody pending investigation.
According to the Lebanese judicial source, Dr Fadi used his Glock pistol to fire 16 bullets, which were found lodged in the intruder’s body.
