Kuwait: Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah arrived at Nouakshcott in Mauritania to lead Kuwait's delegation during 27th Arab Summit.
He was received at the airport by Mauritanian President Mohammad Ould Abdulaziz, Prime Minister Yahya Ould Hademine, Senate Chairman Mohammad Al-Hassan Ould Al-Haj, Parliament Speaker, Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Abul-Gheit, First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy premier, Finance Minister and Acting Oil Minister Anas Al-Saleh, head of the mission of honor and Minister of Islamic Affairs and Religious Education Ahmad Ould Ehil Daoud, and Kuwait Ambassador to Mauritania Khaled Al-Shaibani.
The situation in Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Yemen as well as the Palestinian issue in addition to counter-terrorism efforts are several topics expected to be highlighted in the 27th Arab summit in Mauritania.
Held for the first time in Mauritania since it joined the Arab League in 1973, the Nouakchott summit's agenda will focus on solutions to the various problems plaguing the Arab region
The summit is also expected to touch on means to enhance cooperation among members of the Arab League.
