A Ukrainian man attempted to stop a Russian tank with his bare hands in the northern town of Bakhmach, in a video which has now gone viral.
The video shows the Ukrainian man hanging onto the front of a large Russian tank, only to be pushed backwards on a street by it and then halt to a complete stop.
The man then falls to his knees in the middle of the road as local residents rushed towards him.
The tank was reportedly part of a Russian convoy passing through the town of Bakhmach on Saturday, the third day of the Russian invasion.
The video has been shared by the Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ official Instagram account and has been used as an example to showcase the courage of Ukraine's residents.
"Russia has been lying for years about how the Ukrainian authorities are keeping the people of Ukraine in 'captivity'. The reality is, though, the Ukrainian people are free and ready to stop Russian tanks with their bare hands if need be," read the post's caption.
