Riyadh: An Indian man working in Saudi Arabia has been arrested in the City of Riyadh for murdering his compatriot.
He allegedly stabbed his workmate in several parts of his body, which caused the latter's death.
The suspected killer then set fire to the body at the warehouse, which is located in the district of Al-Faisaliya in Riyadh.
The Civil Defence discovered the charred body after putting out a blaze which broke out at the warehouse.
The police and forensic experts collected evidence from the crime scene and transferred the body of the 50-year old man to the hospital for a postmortem.
The suspect, who is in his fifties, confessed to the crime. He also said that he killed his colleague because the latter had confiscated the former's passport and would only return it if he repaid the money owed to him.
He also admitted to stealing SR3,000 and setting fire to the warehouse to blur crime evidence, according to a report in Almarsd.
