Oman will soon manufacture influenza and insulin vaccines for the very first time, it was announced.
These vaccines will soon be produced in Khazaen Economic City, chief executive Salim bin Suleiman Al Thuhli said.
“Today, for the first time in Khazaen city the human influenza and insulin vaccines will be produced in cooperation with a foreign partner,” he told Times of Oman’s sisterly radio channel Al Shabiba.
"We have entered the pharmaceutical sector and are currently having five projects with a total value of OMR40 million (BD39,076,220),” he added.
