The Bahrain Cricket Federation (BCF) hosted a celebratory ghabga at the Ramee Grand Hotel and Spa in Seef District to mark the holy month and celebrate the team’s recent achievements.
The festivities coincided with the team’s triumph in the Malaysia Open T20 International Championship and their ICC CWC League Playoff (one day) qualification.
The ghabga embodied the spirit of Ramadan, fostering a sense of community and togetherness. The event saw BCF officials honour the Malaysia Open T20I champions, acknowledging their dedication and exceptional skills.
Present were Malaysian Ambassador Shazryll Zahiran, Nepal Ambassador Tirtha Raj Wagle and Capital Governorate director of information and follow-up Yousif Lori, alongside BCF officials and cricketers.
Speaking on the occasion, BCF advisory board chairman Mohammad Mansoor thanked Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his support to cricket, expressing confidence that cricketing infrastructure in the form of grounds would be coming soon.
