Steven Hill shone brightest in the new six-week Monday Madness Night Golf Series which got off to a flying start at the Royal Golf Club this week, sponsored by Coca-Cola.
Nearly 40 players took part in the Individual Stableford tournament which was narrowly won on count back by Hill with 19 points.
Steven Wagstaff was runner-up on the same score while Yusif Janahi took third place with 17 points. Hill won an additional prize for winning a nearest the pin side contest on hole 12 and Wayne Giles came closest on the 16th hole.
Coca-Cola branded flags and banners were displayed around the Club’s Montgomerie championship golf course for the duration of the competition.
The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Club’s Members’ Lounge where Adam Dutson, the Royal Golf Club’s Tournament Coordinator, was on hand to present the prizes on behalf of Coca-Cola.
The Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series competitions will take place at the Royal Golf Club every Monday evening. The 9 hole competitions are open to non-members at a cost of just BD 20 per night and tee off with a 6:30pm shotgun start.
