Dangal has become the highest grossing film of Bollywood by earning Rs 345 crore in 17 days. The previous record was held PK, another Aamir Khan film, which did a lifetime business of Rs 300 crore.

'Dangal' is the wrestling drama based on the life of Mahavir Phogat and his daughters Geeta and Babita, and stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Sakshi Tanwar, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar in key roles.
The Nitesh Tiwari-directed film is now speeding towards the 350-crore mark.
