Dubai: Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan will attend the 67th Indian Republic Day as a chief guest of honour.
He will hold talks with Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior officials on ways of strengthening cooperation, in addition to coordination regarding regional and International issues, reported Al Bayan.
The UAE and India show keenness on strengthening bilateral relations and bolstering strategic partnership, in light of fast-changing regional and international shifts which require concerted efforts and stronger coordination to seize opportunities and confront challenges.
The overall volume of trade exchanges between the UAE and India topped $16 billion in 2016. The two countries look forward to increasing trade exchanges by 60% to reach $100 billion by 2020.
