Two Omani students from al Hayyal School for Basic Education accomplished an international achievement. Their project 'Automatic Car Umbrella' came within the best ten projects in Asia.
The project consists of an umbrella fixed outside the car, powered by a "remote control" and is aimed at reducing the greenhouse effect inside the car and protect it from climatic conditions, as well as reducing the space used for the fixed umbrella.
Said bin Hemiar al- Shukaily, Principal of al Hayyal School for Basic Education explained that the " Automatic Car Umbrella " project is among the top ten Asian projects by Salim bin Ahmed al- Kalbani and Munthir bin Hamad al-Kalbani. The competition was among 72 projects with the participation of 24 Arab and foreign countries.
