Saudi King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud held official talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. The Saudi monarch stressed the need to intensify international efforts to resolve issues and crises in the Middle East including the Palestinian cause, the Syrian and Yemeni crises.
“Terrorism has become the greatest danger to the security of nations and peoples, we are major partners in fighting it, and we are in need of concerted international efforts and hard work to deepen the concepts of dialogue between the followers of religions and cultures, and enhance the spirit of tolerance and coexistence between peoples”, he said.
Japanese Prime Minister Abe welcomed the Saudi leader and described his visit as “historical”, stressing the need to further enhance relations and boost investments.
