Oman’s national carrier has started operating its new Boeing 737-800 aircraft on short and medium-haul flights.
This aircraft has a configuration of 12 First Class seats and 126 Economy Class seats.
The new Boeing 737-800 which took off from Seattle last Monday (March 13) on its maiden flight hit the tarmac at Muscat International Airport two days later.
Oman Air has now a 51-strong fleet which includes 5 Boeing Dreamliner 787, 6 Airbus 330-300, 4 Airbus 330-200, 5 Boeing 737-900, 26 Boeing 737-800, in addition to 1 Boeing 737-700 and 4 Embraer 175.
Another Dreamliner 787-9 is expected to join Oman Air Flight next month (April), bringing the overall number to 52.
