A former Kuwaiti minister was referred, along with a senior official, to the Public Prosecution on suspicion of corruption, according to Al Qabas daily.
Two other supervisors working with the same minister will also face legal action over suspected sleaze, said the Kuwait Anti-corruption Authority.
“The suspects were referred to the Public Prosecution after discovering flagrant administrative and financial irregularities in sealing contracts,” it said in a press statement. The authority relied on the testimonies of witnesses.
