The Amir of Qatar Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Philippines President Rodrigo Roa Duterte held official talks at the Amiri Diwan, according to QNA.
The two leaders reviewed joint co-operation in all fields, especially infrastructure, agriculture, health and education investments, as well as expatriate labour.
The two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
The Amir of Qatar and the Philippines President oversaw the signing of a number of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries.
These include a MoU in the field of culture between Qatar's Ministry of Culture and Sports and Philippine's National Commission for Culture and the Arts.
The two sides also signed MoUs on encouraging and protecting mutual investments, co-operation in the fields of technical and vocational education and co-operation in the health field.
