President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine arrived in Oman today on a two-day visit to the Sultanate, according to Al Watan newspaper.
The Palestinian President was received upon his arrival by Minister of Justice Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Minister of State Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Sa'eedi, Minister of Legal Affairs Mohammed bin Yousef Al Zarafi, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mohammed bin Awadh Al Hassan, Acting Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs Nasser bin Mohammed Al Busaidi, head of the Protocols Department at the Foreign Ministry Dr Ahmed Abbas Ramadhan, Palestinian Ambassador to Oman and staff members of the embassy.
The Palestinian President is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Dr Ziad Abu Amr, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Riyad Al Malki, advisor to the Palestinian President for Political Affairs Dr Mahmoud Al Habbash, Supreme Sharia Judge Nabil Abu Rudeina, spokesman for the Presidency Majdi Al Khaldi, diplomatic advisor to the Palestinian President Dr Ahmed Ramadhan and other officials.
