The Saudi Cabinet will hold its regular weekly meetings on Tuesdays, instead of Mondays, according to Al Riyadh newspaper.
The Cabinet secretary-general said that Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had approved the change, following the establishment of the Political and Security Affairs Council and the Economic Affairs and Development Council.
The move will allow ministries, government departments and financial institutions more time to undertake the necessary preparations for the weekly Cabinet sessions, especially following the decision designating official working days from Sunday to Thursday.
