Battlelines have been drawn once again in Bollywood as the Kangana-Hrithik controversy has resurfaced.
Kangana Ranaut has asked for a public apology from actor Hrithik Hroshan for being unable to prove the allegations he levelled against her.
The 'Queen' star recently appeared on a TV talk show 'Aap Ki Adalat' and also did an interview with Rajeev Masand, where she said that Hrithik caused her trauma after their alleged relationship ended.
Kangana's statements have once again brought the issue to the forefront, giving celebrities, related or unrelated to the issue, another chance to add fuel to the fire.
Following Kangana's interview, Hrithik's ex-wife Sussane Khan took to Instagram where she shared a selfie with the actor and wrote:
"There is no allegation or a sad evil plot that can have the weight to triumph over a good soul. #mafamilia #powerofthetruth #pureheart".
Kangna's statements also garnered scoff from some other quarters. In an open letter to Kangana Ranaut, singer Sona Mohapatra said she hopes the actor would take a higher moral ground and not make a mockery of her personal life anymore.
In the letter posted on Facebook, Sona wrote she has always supported Kangana "in private and in public" even before she turned a superstar.
She, however, added, "... But your current run across the airwaves regurgitating personal details of your love life over and over again, washing dirty linen in public and more so as part of a professional PR campaign before your film release is in bad taste."
Kangana will be next seen in Hansal Mehta-directed "Simran", which releases on September 15.
However, the actress found a supporter in author Taslima Nasreen. Taslima took to her official Twitter account to express her thoughts about Kangna's remarks.
"Saw kangana's aap ki adalat. loved it. then I read her emails. crazy4 hrithik. I get confused. but I don't think she is suffering from asperger's," tweeted the author.
Kangana has blown the roof with her unreserved statements on many other controversial issues as well.
On 'Aap Ki Adalat' Kangana Ranaut was asked by Rajat Sharma why she holds so many grudges against Karan Johar. Is it because he doesn’t cast her in his film? To this Kangana replied,"I did one film for him and I had 10 minutes role in it. The movie was one among two biggest flop movies of mine".
Karan fired back without taking names, the director tweeted:
Ungrateful people need a reality check!!!!!!!!

The actress didn't stop there! She also spoke about how actor Aditya Pancholi exploited her during her struggling days.
However, unlike Johar, Aditya ditched the subtle approach and was quoted by an entertainment website saying,“She is a mad girl, what to do, did you see the interview? Didn’t you feel like some mad person was talking? Who talks like that? We have been in the industry for so long, nobody has ever spoken anything so evil about anyone. What should I say, she’s a mad girl. If you throw stones in mud, it will only spoil your clothes.”
Kangana seems to have opened multiple fronts with her explosive interviews, and with celebrity reactions coming in every day, these acrimonious exchanges don't seem to be dying anytime soon.
