Manama: The upcoming 22nd annual edition of the World Islamic Banking Conference (WIBC) in Bahrain will provide industry leaders with an opportunity to critically assess Islamic finance’s 40-year history, organisers said.
To be held from December 1 to 3 at the Gulf Hotel, the event will see regulators, chief executives, scholars and other leaders from the Middle East, East Asia, Africa and Europe coming together to assess and reflect upon the achievements, challenges and opportunities in the rapidly growing Islamic finance industry, currently amounting to $2 trillion .
