Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and discussed joint ties, regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Shaikh Mohammed stressed the importance of the pivotal UAE-Egyptian ties which, he said, contributed over the past years in confronting regional challenges, particularly the scourge of terrorism, according to WAM.
Sisi stressed Egypt's keenness to continue developing bilateral relations and co-ordination between the two countries at all levels on various regional and international issues. He stressed that the security of the Gulf states is an integral part of Egypt's national security.
UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also held talks with Sisi and discussed bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest, stressing the importance of strengthening friendly ties and co-operation between the UAE and Egypt at various levels.
