Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to pay an official visit to Kuwait within two weeks, according to Al Rai newspaper.
Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek revealed the planned visit in a statement to the press on the sidelines of his talks with Kuwaiti Commerce Minister Khalid Al Rawdhan as part of the 10th meeting of the Turkish-Kuwait joint economic co-operation committee.
Simsek hailed strong bilateral political relations, describing joint ties as a model in a region ravaged by crises.
