Saudi nationals were urged to leave Lebanon as soon as possible due to the developments unfolding there.
The Saudi Embassy in Beirut issued a circular calling upon compatriots who are either visiting Lebanon or living there to leave the country promptly.
A group of people reportedly set fire to the cars owned by two Saudi women living in a Beirut district.
The embassy said that it is following-up with the Lebanese authorities to uncover the circumstances of the incident, which may fuel hatred, identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
According to Sabq, the two cars were set ablaze by Hatem Mortadha and his brother Ali Mortadha, who works for Hizbollah-owned Al Mayadeen TV Channel.
