An expatriate worker was arrested for turning a women’s tailoring shop, where he works, into a makeshift “clinic”.
The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) also closed the shop in Muttrah pending investigation, Watan newspaper reported.
The suspect reportedly provided medical services and sold medicines and pharmaceutical products to his “customers”.
The man, who faces legal action, stands accused of violating the Consumer Protection Law and its executive regulations.
