Imran guides BDS Bassali to 25-run win

A half century by Imran helped BDS Bassali seal a 25-run victory over Indian Rising Star in a CBA Division ‘B’ match.

Batting first, BDS scored 190 runs for the loss of seven wickets with the help of 51 runs by Imran and a 48-run knock by Hamad. Ameer took three wickets for Rising Star.

Later BDS managed to restrict Rising star to 165 for seven with Naveeb claiming three wickets. Romy scored 38 runs and Kiran chipped in with 31 for Rising Star.

Meanwhile, in a Division ‘C’ T20 league match, SNCS Transfast held off NDC Bahrain by three wickets.

Batting first, NDC were all out for 108 runs as Aneesh claimed three wickets for SNCS. In reply, SNCS, led by a half century by Renjith, managed to reach the victory target in the 19th over. Alex took three wickets for NDC.
