Fans were hoping the trailer would be released in July after San Diego Comic Con, or Disney’s D23 event, however, the studio kept them anxiously waiting. The Avengers Infinity War movie is set to debut in cinemas on May 4, 2018, 10 years after Marvel Studios first movie, Iron Man.

Fan favourite villain Thanos (Josh Brolin) will finally make an appearance after being teased in the first Avengers movie in 2012, as he hunts down the infinity stones. The movie will see the Avengers teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The Russo brothers who are directing the film have said that the movie will feature 67 characters, including Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) Captain America (Chris Evans) Thor (Chris Hemsworth) Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) Spider-Man (Tom Holland) The Guardians of the Galaxy (Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradly Cooper, and Vin Diesel) and many more.
Infinity War is rumoured to be the end for several fan favourite characters as the studio makes room for its newer heroes. There’s only one Marvel Studios film left before Avengers Infinity War, Black Panther, which will be released on February 16, 2018. Until then you can catch ‘Thor Ragnarok’ in cinemas now.
