DRIVERS escaped serious injury in three major accidents yesterday.
The first happened at around 2.30am when an American driver ploughed through a barrier as he drove into the Seef District from King Fasial Highway.
He is said to have suffered a minor head injury.
The second accident at around 3am, also in the Seef District, involved an Egyptian driver whose car overturned in the middle of the road. However, he apparently walked away from the accident without any injuries and an emergency crew was dispatched to remove the car.
The third accident happened at around 1pm near Saar Avenue junction on Budaiya Highway.
A Bahraini driver overturned his vehicle after mounting the central reservation and colliding with the barrier.
The driver is said to have suffered minor injuries to his right arm and leg and was treated by an ambulance crew. Emergency services also arrived to remove the car and direct traffic.
