A lawsuit filed against a potential voter fraud during elections at Bahrain’s main business assembly have been rejected.
The case challenges the legitimacy of a voter database maintained by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), which is set to hold its board elections on March 10.
It was filed in the High Administrative Court by lawyer Saad Aldoseri and sought to restrict the voting to company owners whose Commercial Registrations (CRs) are registered with the government.
However, judges kicked out the case today.
