NOT one to rest on his laurels, Terenzo Bozzone is heading to Argentina for Ironman 70.3 Bariloche after taking the Ironman New Zealand crown last weekend.
The Kiwi will camp in the Americas for the next two weeks with Ironman 70.3 Campeche in Mexico also on his racing schedule.
“Winning Ironman NZ is a dream come true. I never would have guessed someone would break eight hours on this course and to do this with my brother doing his first Ironman was just the icing on the cake,” said Bozzone.
“My body seems to be recovering well and I am looking forward to seeing if with the right rest and preparation i can keep my performances improving over the next two weeks.”
“Terenzo tends to find his peak form through consistent racing,” said Bahrain Endurance 13 team director Chris McCormack.
“He has an amazing ability to back up week-in, week-out and focus on executing at each successive race.
“This is a skill not many athletes have, and after years of racing this way he just keeps getting better at it.”
