Riyadh: A 3D zebra pedestrian crossing has been set in Al-Ahsa, in Saudi Arabia.
The Al-Ahsa municipal authorities said that the new pedestrian crossing is being used on an experimental use.
The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs announced the initiative on its Twitter account, describing it as “world-standard”.
“The new 3D zebra crossing is heat and water resistant and reflects light”, said the ministry.
Several towns across the globe have introduced the newly painted pedestrian crossings that look like floating 3D optical illusions in a bid to slow speed and embellish streets.
